First off, its a complete pleasure to share my story
and my time with Freedom Athletics.

I've been a cheerleader for 12 years. I have cheered for Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy's elementary school (2 years), middle school (2 years) and high school (4 years), Freedom Athletics (6 years), and Jacksonville University (4 years).

I would have to say that my favorite part of cheerleading was becoming a part of a second family and the lifelong relationships I was able to create and maintain to this day!
After High School I went off to Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, FL
where I cheered collegiately for 4 years. I was the team captain in
my senior year and I intend to graduate college in May as a Registered Nurse.

Cheering at Freedom Athletics has helped guide me into the adult I am today in so many ways...

Cheering with Freedom Athletics helped to build my confidence.
It taught me team work, how to be a leader, a role model and to never give up. I learned to trust in both myself and others, to listen, to be dedicated and disciplined, to believe in myself and others, and that I can accomplish anything I set my mind to.
One piece of advice I would give to our younger generation is to never give up
and to always fight for your dreams. Don't ever let someone tell you that you cannot do something or that you are not good enough because you can do anything you set your mind to, and no one else can tell you different.
In closing, I want to share my favorite quote -- "I can do anything in Christ, who strengthens me." - Philippians 4:13. These are words I live by and may help
you along the path to your goals and dreams.

Thanks to all the staff at Freedom Athletics for everything - You're the best!
